DEFINITION(S)
- théorie de représentation de l’incertitude, introduite en 1976 par Glenn Shafer, qui inclut comme cas particuliers les théories des probabilités et des possibilités. L’incertitude y est évaluée par deux fonctions duales, la fonction de croyance et la fonction de plausibilité (dont la valeur en un événement « A » est le complément à 1 de la valeur de la fonction de croyance en l’évènement contraire « non A »), ce qui permet de capturer le caractère incomplet de l’information.
