DÉFINITION(S)
- a formal model proposed in 1943 by Warren McCulloch and Walter Pitts and inspired by biological neurons. A neuron has a number of inputs and outputs. The neuron activates itself (and all its outputs) when it receives a sufficiently strong signal (determined by an activation function) from all its inputs.
